Vogland Orc CollectionI’m probably known more for reviewing resin printers on YouTube than for anything else, and it was through that work that I got a little tired of downloading and printing files that simply… didn’t print. So I designed my very own Orc. He wasn’t all that impressive, but he was properly supported and printed every time — which, for me at least, made him a reliable test subject.
Over time I began to fall in love with these little guys, and the fictional world of Vogland took root in my mind. It was never meant to be taken seriously (much like my talents as a model designer), but I hoped it would be fun, humorous, and a little different from the norm.
All of the Orcs are free to download, and some have accompanying videos that explore, in terrifying detail, Vogland lore and its many absurdities. Above all, I hope they’re simply good models to print and paint.
Below, in reverse order, are the models I created as part of the Vogland Orc Collection. I cannot claim any of them are a works of art, but I had fun making them.
A Vogland Orc Scout with an unhealthy interest in his leaf, a propensity to overreact violently to any form of critique about said leaf, and a strong belief in his ability to camouflage.

The Vogland Orc Mage is gnarled and wizened by the years. A formidable figure, he's renowned for his ability to point with purpose and menace. Upon his bony shoulder perches his vicious familiar, the horrifying Vogland Terror Hawk (shudder).

The Vogland Orc Hogrider sits upon a magnificent steed, the infamous Vogland Suicide Pig. Whilst small and cute in stature, the Vogland Suicide Pig has probably the tastiest meat in Vogland. However, nature has been kind to it, giving it incredible strength and such a violent disposition that trying to eat one is tantamount to Suicide. Probably for this reason, they’ve struck up an uneasy alliance with the Vogland Orcs, whereby neither species eats the other.

For me, this was probably the true begining of the Vogland Orc. Here in his natural state, I imagined him confident to the point of requiring no body armour. From this point on his kin became fiercely proud of their shiny codpieces, typically wearing nothing else, other than a stout pair of boots. Vogland Orc’s generally stare across the battlefield, locking eyes with their foes, and polishing their codpieces with great enthusiasm. This alone is usually enough to disturb the enemy.

Here is the original Vogland Orc. I can't pretend to like him these days as for me he lacks character. He was a little generic... bulky armour, big tusks... same old same. But he's the origin story and from him more interesting and fun things developed.
